Need Help Finding Round Diamond and Setting (Details Included)

Look through the options posted by @farrahlyn too.

Prioritize Size, hold color at H or above.

https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-di...color-si2-clarity-true-hearts-cut-sku-4639987 {JA gemologist needs to clear the cloud for impact on the stone. The inclusions are concentrated such that the ones at 5'oclock could be covered by a prong (especially double claws). But, inclusion on the table may still be visible. But, prioritizes size.

https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-di...h-color-vs1-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-4632202 (again, you'll have to get the clouds cleared and with them as a grade--setting inclusion that might be an issue. But, if this is cleared, this is a otherwise lovely stone with great angles.}

https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-di...h-color-vs2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-4822374 {Great angles. Small visible inclusion on the table, but still earned an VS2. I'm seeing more variable pavilion facets than the one above, but it would be worth an IS}

https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-di...h-color-vs2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-4620672 {Great angles. Tiny inclusion at 2'oclock, but I would highly doubt that it is visible. Worth an IS}

Flexing color to I color.

https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-di...i-color-vs2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-4709187 {good angles. pretty and lively}

I have the setting picked out and its a bit different than the original picture and it will cost around $2k.

My overall budget is $15k, so I need the diamond to be $13k or less.

I would prefer no to minimal fluorescence. I haven't had a chance to go to go look at I color diamonds since I was pretty set on the Four Mines one.

Any thoughts on this one:

It might be fine but I'd really want an Idealscope image to check it out properly and I'm not sure if USACerted offer them, that's something I need to check on.

Thanks. These have me definitely wanting to go check out an I color.

Are you looking at a specific setting somewhere?

this JA Is similar and is under $1k in platinum.

It would help to know your ALL IN budget. It would help for people to make specific recommendations for each site on stones and setting.

for the above JA setting, to stay under $14k:

I'm going to ask for further info on the first two you posted.

Agreed, I would need an ASET or Idealscope before purchase. However, it seems this diamond is no longer available.

It might be fine but I'd really want an Idealscope image to check it out properly and I'm not sure if USACerted offer them, that's something I need to check on.

What is the specific setting you want? It can be practical and economical to try to do setting and stone from the same vendor (e.g., shipping, insurance, setting fees, skill of the setter, etc.)

If you share, could be that the folks here can help you replicate the setting at one of the vendors you'd consider for your stone and save you some headache and maybe some $$

My apologies, I didn't see your reply earlier.

I'm looking at this setting in platinum: https://www.gabrielny.com/engagement-ring/ER6692W44JJ
