I''m looking for a platinum setting for a 3 stone princess. I found this one on Blue Nile that looks nice (notice the rounding on the ring''s surface instead of the square flat edges), but I don''t like how bunched up the stones are.

Something like this one with the round edges of the one above would be perfect:

or even the trellis setting (the diamonds look less bunched together), but again with round edges

http://www.bluenile.com/product_details.asp?oid=5922&catid=7&filter_id=8&nav1=design.asp?filter_id=8&page=1&col=2&row=2&pos=4&set_shape=PR

Can anyone point me in the right direction or give some suggestions? I can pay up to $3000 for the setting, but of course am not opposed to paying $1000 either, as long as it is platinum and meets the above criteria.

I like the trellis setting the best by far. I''m not sure where you were thinking of getting the stones, but BN won''t sell a setting by itself. So you would have to get the stones there also. And I''m not sure how well cut their''s would be.

Personally, I would recommend going with Whiteflash. They have a Princess trellis setting for $50.00 more, and you could get their ACA princess stones, which are gorgous.

i think pearlman''s has three-stone trellis setting for princess cuts in their ''closeouts/previously owned'' section. i think it was consigned by PSer february2008bride.

That''s an idea, though the OP stated it had to be Plat.
