I received a marquise e-ring that is a heirloom from my fiance''s mother. It is a 1.3 carat marquise with two tapered baquettes set in white gold.I tried to post a pic of it but it keeps erroring out.

I am looking for a wedding ring to go with this engagement ring. I love it but cannot find anything to go with.

The issue is no ring will sit flush against it because the head is so low and sticks out from the ring. I don''t like the rings that have cut out baguettes to go around it.

I want a ring I can wear without my e-ring. Does anyone have any suggestions. I have considered re-setting the marquise but cannot find a modern marquise set. I love eternity bands but really cannot decide what to do.

HELP!

What a beautiful ring!!!

You may have a hard time getting a band to sit flush with it - but many people don''t mind that at all.

I think a simple think dimaond band would work best. Maybe channel set? If you do a search of the word "marquis" you see a bunch of settings for your ring. Good luck!

What a beautiful ring! Plus, the sentimental value is priceless.

I don''t have any suggestions for you on the wedding ring, but I''m sure others will chime in and help!

Hey, I think that would look great. You could even get two and put one on each side.

I almost bought a ring just like that in December. I found a couple of local B&M stores that had, or could order, baguette bands that would match and sit flush. Ty asking around and looking in catalogs at the jeweler''s.
