I recall reading a post from about a year ago where a person had their diamond photographed a special way by an appraiser.
Apart from the standard suite of tests and workups, this appraiser pointed a beam of light through the diamond so you could see the light dispersion of the diamond on the table.
After a year of waiting and saving - I''ll be pulling the trigger this week and hopefully doing the deed in 2 weeks time
