Hey fellow PSers!
Like many, I've come to learn a LOT about diamonds just from reading this site and (trying) to follow some of your discussions. It's finally my turn to purchase and I'd love your help. In the past, I've even seen many of you come up with ASETs for folks, which is awesome. You provide a great service.
I'm trying to find a:
-Princess,
-Color: D,
-Clarity: VS2,
-Flouresence: None,
-Weight: .90 and up (ideally a carat, or very near).
My budget for the stone itself is around $5000 (of course, spending less is always welcome), and I already have the setting picked out (platinum setting with 12 .45 carat, handpicked, D colored princess stones - 6 on each side of the main stone). For this reason, I REALLY want/need to stick to D - I'm a big fan of colorless.
Ideally, I'd like to stay away from a thin girdle - in hopes of avoiding any chipping of the stone, so I'd prefer thicker girdles (medium and up).
I'd LOVE your help and, in return, I promise to post a picture of the finished ring!
Thank you!
