My friend who is getting married next year is desperately looking for the name of a Pronovias dress. The dress shop wouldn''t give her the actual name but I knew you guys were dress-finding-super-sleuth-experts so I figured i''d try here! ANY HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED!

The dress is supposedly similar to pronovias'' america dress (which is fr 06 i believe). Pronovias America

And also very similar to the anjolique dress:

Some more info- the dress in question is made of dupioni (?) silk.

Hi cakeny,

is any other info known? For example, is it a 2007, 2008, or 2009 dress? Is it a San Patrick, Pronovias, Manuel Mota, Elie Saab, Valentino Sposa? These are all dress lines under the Pronovias umbrella.

ETA: is the dress in the photo the Anjolique?

ETA: Could it be the ademuz? More photos of the ademuz.

Yup- The dress in the pic that i actually attached is the anjolique. My friend believes it''s a newer one from 08 or 09. She also did ask about the specific Pronovias dress line and they refused to tell her! Her best guess is san patrick but when she asked, all they would confirm was that it was a pronovias dress.

(BTW, this is a boutique in LA, and they sound mean and horrible! When i went to get my dress at Klienfeld''s, they were pretty open about the dress names and style #''s.)

This one is called Eva.

Just in case we can''t find the dress online, because Pronovias doesn''t post all their dresses on their website, your friend might just want to email Pronovias customer service with a description of the dress. They are really good at getting back to you with information. I asked them for photos of my dress and they responded within a few hours.

Not the ademuz, it has beading. she said another similar dress would be the San Patrick Baleares - pics of the Baleares HERE.

Oh that is a good idea, i will also suggest that to her in case we are not successful. you''ve been lots of help, thanks so much!

Your welcome! There's actually a number of them on the website that might be 'possibilities'. This one is called Reyes.

ETA: Comparing this one in the thread to the Anjolique, I don't think it's it.
