I dried out my bouquet and my DH''s bout. I sprayed them in acrylic to preserve some of the color and shape. I''m trying to find some sort of case to put them in but it''s kind of a pain considering the cost of something like a collector''s doll case. Anyone have any ideas? The bouquet needs something that''s a minimum of 14" for the height (could be width too if I can prop it sideways) and the has to have enough room for a 10-11" diameter.

Something with UV protection would be great. Anyone have any experience with cases?

Thanks!

I''m not sure how much $$$ your looking to spend, but I did see this booth at a recent bridal show. Maybe it would be less if you purchase the display only since you won''t need the preservation step.

A friend of mine dried her bouquet flowers and made a wreath that hangs in her house.

I had a glass case built by a company that specializes in windshield replacements - oddly enough. They had no problem creating my case, direct to my specifications and the cost was half that of what I had seen in collectors stores.

You can also go to a frame store. Many of them do display cases for heirlooms/keepsakes, as well as frames.

Thanks for the tips! There are a lot of online shops that look interesting but you can''t really tell what the case is like by the photos sometimes. I''m just trying to avoid spend hundreds and hundres of dollars on a case for some dried flowers. Hopefully I can keep it under 200.

This is random, but my dad has a couple plexiglass basketball display cubes from my brother''s glory days. Maybe something like that might work too?

Actually Michael's is having a half off sale on those... but they aren't big enough... 14x10 min is what i need to fit a bouquet. I'll double check there one more time just in case before i hit up the container store. I realy want something wth UV ray protection since that's what fades the color on flowers.

Darn. Well, it was worth a try.

I just checked out the one at the container store... it''s workable but wow it''s huge! Much bigger than I''d need. I don''t even know where I''d put that in our apartment. Worth a shot though... I''m now going to try a plastics store nearby I guess.

Man this wedding is still costing me, even after the fact!
