Hello All,

I''m pretty new to the diamond scene, but I have done quite a bit of research over the past couple days. I know that theres a lot of people here that are experts or know much more about diamonds than I do, so I would like to enlist your help!

I''m looking to find a princess cut diamond, around 1 carat, D/E/F , VS2 and above and a pretty good cut. I am looking to spend around $6500. I basically want to the best stone I can afford. If my expectations are unreasonable; let me know! Thanks for the help!

I don''t really need anything much bigger than 1 carat. I also read that the stone color is more distinguishable with the princess cut; correct me if I am wrong.

How does the ideal scope picture look for the second diamond posted? I know that the more red you see the better and the symmetry is ok, but thats all that I know to look for.

Dan, I like both diamonds Ellen posted. Do you have a link to the one you listed some specs on? I think as long as you stay in the near colorless range on a PC you''ll be fine.

Thanks for the response.
