First I would like to thank everyone for giving all this great information. I almost bought a horrible diamond at a local store that was listed as "IDEAL". I now know that this was a joke. However, now my search has switched to the online market. I was hoping/begging/praying that someone could tell me if this diamond is in good specs and is a good deal
Carat: 1.508
Shape: round
Depth%: 61.5
Taable%56.8
Crown Angle: 34.6
Crown%: 15
Star: 52
pavilion Angle: 40.7
Pavilion %: 42.9
Lower Girdle%: 77
Girdle: thin to medium faceted
Light Performance: 0
Polish: Ideal
Symmetry: Ideal
Culet: Pointed
Fluorescence: negligible
Color is I and clarity is SI1(and was told it was eye clean)
Price:$9100
So what do you guys think.....Is this a resonable price or not so good? I think I provided all the stats that is needed.
Again I just want to thank all of you for the great education I have recieved from this sight and I am happy to make this my first post

I''m fairly new also, but it might be helpful if you post up the actual link to the diamond. Also was it a GIA, AGS, or EGL/IGI report?

The diamond is AGS certified

It looks good by the numbers. AGS0 diamonds are generally tip top, I personally feel comfortable buying diamonds of this cut grade by this lab without worrying too much about it. But to be really thorough you could also post a magnified image of the diamond and an IS image if you have it... though I have never really seen an AGSO diamond rejected by the IS image

As to value there is a search function up top where you can see comparable prices. Choose AGS ideal. Some comparables in terms of color and cut and clarity, though these are branded H&A cuts so they may not be the best comparison:

Hi Alan

The diamond has great potential, do you have any images such as Idealscope please?

Numbers look promising. Any Idealscope image?

thanks stone cold. It really is a piece of mind to hear someone say it is a good diamond......I''m gona order it. I''ll post some pics when it comes in

Good luck. :)

Very nice Idealscope!

It looks good. Just make sure it is eye clean to *your* standards. Those look like WF images, and tecnically eye clean is 8-10 inches for them. But they will tell you if it is also clean at 6 inches too.
