Need help comparing two ~1ct man made diamonds

Hi all,

Thanks in advance for your help. I recently purchased a diamond and found a cheaper one and I am wondering why one is about $1000 more expensive than the other. Measurements check out pretty well on both. Here are the links:

Only thing I can suggest is that if those stones are from other vendor's inventory then they have to price it according to what the vendor wants (ie - one stone is overpriced).

I thought Brilliant Earth had their own inventory but who knows? We've seen enough instances where the SAME stone has been listed on different sites for wildly different prices.

Thanks for the reply and information, much appreciated. I looked closer at the IGI report and on the diamond of the cheaper one there are two very small imperfections shown on the diamond illustration in red. I wonder if it is from that.

Yes. Don't forget that IF only means that the stones are internally clean. They can most certainly have surface reaching flaws etc. One may have been more 'flawless' than the other.
