My BF and I are getting engaged sometime this year, and I am going to pick out my own setting. He is picking out the center stone himself, it will be around 1.5 carats. I would like to spend between $2000-3000 for the setting, but less if possible. I have size 6 finger, but my fingers are VERY long, so even the 1.5 stone looks small on my hand.
We went to Shane and Co yesterday to try on rings, and I found several that I like, it's important to me to have stones on the sides of the ring as well as the top and I love the Pave setting. I feel that Shane and Co has great settings with great prices, they were the most value for the money at any place we looked at. I'm just concerned about committing to something that I may not like forever.
Any suggestions for any settings that may take up more real estate on my finger? I need to decide on this ASAP.
