Need help choosing dream ring

Hello!
After years of lurking, I am finally able to choose my dream right hand ring. I can't decide between two very different styles. A four carat total weight h/vs2 emerald cut eternity band or a three stone princess cut platinum ring with a 1.06 j/vs2 center and two .50 j/vs2 side stones. Which would be more versatile and something that would give me a good bling factor?

I own a 3 stone princess (see my avatar) that was made by BGD and it is almost exactly what you are describing! .50 sides and a centre of 1.06/1.09...yup I've forgotten!! Sides are E centre is F. I'm an 8 ring size so width coverage is wonderful for my finger. It has decent finger depth coverage as well. What size stones for your finger size, would be used in an eternity of ECs?

Have you been trying them both on? Do you have a preference? Is there a budget to stick with? My *guess* would be the EC eternity would be more costly as H VS2 than the J 3 stone. But only guessing!

Thank you for the reply. Your ring is beautiful! The emerald cut eternity is a but more pricey, but my husband insists on choosing what I like best. Each stone in the eternity would be .20 carat. I wear a size 5 ring. I have had trouble finding a brick and mortar that carries eternity bands and have had no luck finding an emerald cut one to physically try on. Most have been round ones in the 2-3 carat range, so I am struggling on visualizing how big it would look on my finger. The three stone rings I have tried on are lovely and do make an impact on my small finger. I guess I am torn because I have not been able to try on an emerald cut eternity and see if it looks better. I am also concerned about durability long term.

This may not help too much, but I met w RubiesRMe in NYC this April and this is a shot of her tiny size 4 or 5 finger w a GORGEOUS EC eternity.

We were meeting at IDJ on 47th st in NYC and they also had a variety of eternities there to try on - but we mainly stuck to bands because that's what I was interested in at the time.. Just thinking they may be worth contacting for information. They are VERY budget friendly and a lot of PSers rave about them - I'm definitely someone who really enjoys working with Yekutiel and Luann! Say hi from Enerchi if you contact them! lol!

These range from 8ctw to 12 ctw!!! YOWZERS but fun to get some sense of what the different sizes look like on a similar size finger! Enjoy the hunt!

Lol! Those were incredible IRL! I could only dream about owning one! They are shown on RubiesRMe's lovely slim fingers. You wouldn't be smoking if you saw them wedged on my paws!

I'm pretty good w visualizing, but seeing a "real ring" on your own finger size, really helps. Hope kcdobson finds them useful

Those pics were helpful especially since I haven't been able to see one in person. I am definitely going to contact Idjewelry and see what they can do. I would also like to see some 2 caratish princess three stones on fingers if anyone has one

Oh GOOD!! I'm so glad you'll get in touch with Idjewelryonline.com --- Luann and Yekutiel are who I've dealt with but others here have spoken with a few more of the staff. I just love Yekutiel (and he says to think of pronouncing his name as "you -can- tell"!) and he is AMAZING with a budget!! AND --- also very aware that when a pricescoper is contacting them, to be certain to use 'ps quality' stones. By that, knowing that we can be very particular w the quality of the diamonds used, he will be certain that they are the highest quality to work with your budget. the eternity sounds gorgeous, but I would just we sure it's comfortable between your fingers , if you plan to wear it all the time.
