I went ahead and ordered the GOG diamond. The customer service was unbelievable and I had a really good conversation with John. I''m excited to get my ring in tomorrow.
Good Old Gold has one the most informative staff I have ever encountered and I was able to speak to John directly which was very nice. I am very impressed with their company and with the fact that you get a hearts and arrows viewer with your purchase. When I opened the box I new instantly that the diamond was cut to a MUCH higher standard than my Blue Nile 1.29CT F SI2. I can''t really explain how much more the GOG diamond sparkled and how much fire it had.
I also noticed that the GOG diamond has much more contrast than the Blue Nile diamond and in certain lighting conditions it seems darker. I also do notice the warmth of the J color versus the F color, but the cut of the J colored GOG diamond negates the color difference.
I had 3 co-workers pick between the 2 and all of them chose the GOG J colored diamond. When I compare the diamonds in direct sun light they both appeared white and the GOG diamond just seemed to sparkle just a bit more.
I am planning on getting the Excel Tiffany Replica found here

I will post pictures as soon as I can get my camera.
