I am new to the diamond selection process and need some help. I have chosen a halo style engagement ring setting that will hold a 3/8 - 1/2 carat diamond. After searching online I found two diamonds that seem to be of high quality and fit this setting.
Diamond 1
Cut Ideal
Color H
Clarity VS2
Depth % 61.7
Table % 55.2
Crown Angle 34.1
Pavilion Angle 40.7

Diamond 2
Cut excellent
Color F
Clarity VS2
Depth % 61.4
Table % 56.8
Crown Angle 34.7
Pavilion Angle 40.6

These diamonds both seem to be excellent quality to my novice eye. I am concerned about the color difference between the two diamonds. Is a color grade of H noticeable worse than F? Also, based on the ideal scope images, does one of these diamonds have a superior cut compared to the other?
Thank you for any input
