Need help by tomorrow...BBB set stone or Scott Kay

Finally, my Scott Kay mounting came in to Bailey Banks and Biddle. We''re going tomorrow to have the stone set. Something in the back of my head is telling me that I read somewhere that if Scott Kay doesn''t set the stone they don''t guarantee the ring. BBB says that''s OK, because they guarantee the ring as long as I bring it in for inspection and cleaning every 6 months. Does this sound right? Thank you very much.

Those warranties are very flimsy, if Scott Kay needs to set it to have them guarantee their work send it to them. Better safe then sorry.

I agree. I''d have Scott Kay set it. I''ve heard several stories of folks who have had their local jewelers set stones and mess up the settings. Send it to SK.
