Which of these four would you choose? I''m looking for something eye clean.

There''s an option to view the diamonds in the upper right corner of the page.

Any help would be much appreciated. I''m trying to keep it around $1600 or below.

Are there any I can eliminate?

I do not know anything about princess or almost nothing I should say, but I will try to help what little I can.

#1 is a nice looking diamond (from pic), but I would not do a princess with a very thin girdle because of possibility of chipping, so #1 would be out.

#3 is horrible looking by the pic. the table looks HUGE and the black looking inclusions would make me wonder if it would be eyeclean.

#4 is pretty much a twin of #3. Kick it out also.

#2 resembles the first stone which I liked the looks of. it also has a nice thickness on the girdle. It may also be eyeclean as per the pic. This would be my pick.

All of my decisions were made by looking at the actual pics of the diamonds in question. I do not know enough about numbers on princesses to make a judgment call on them. I can only go by my eyes. HTH

No expert here either, but I know enough to also add, strive for at least VG Symmetry. I agree with Shay that 2 is the best candidate out of these, but I''d want an Isealscope pic before deciding. ASET would be better, but I don''t think JA does them.

Thanks to all who have replied and offered opinions.

This one might give number two a run for its money, but I''m not sure about that "cloud finish."

According to the pricescope link on that page, here''s what they offer in specs.

"We can provide you with a copy of the laboratory report, a magnified image, a sarin or ogi report as well as an Idealscope request on any diamond listed on the JamesAllen.com website."

MrK, I would stick with #2. This one also has only Good Symmetry.
