Good Morning Everyone. I need expert opinions of these 2 diamonds. If you're a veteran of the diamond world i'm sure you already know what diamonds i'm showing down below (10 H&A's). So i'm a total newbie still doing research about diamonds and i want your expert opinions, iv'e read that Ideal scope and ASET scope images can tell so much about a diamonds light performance. so i need help in determining which of the 2 diamonds is better than the other and what your personal opinion is. I also have the H&A Images and Black and Grey images if it is needed to have more evaluation of the diamonds. Thank You all for your knowledge.

Are these computer generated images? Can you post actual images?

Both are great stones.
Just make a decision based on your budget and color/carat/clarity combo and eye-cleanliness.

How big are these stones?
Personal opinion...I'm in the same box as Wink...these stones are too busy for me. I prefer 8 H&A with shorter lower halves so the arrows are thicker.
These stones are just the opposite of that look...like I said...personal opinion.

@Wink, looking at the diagram, that diagram and how it is explained may differ from distance from the diamond and the viewer. I could be wrong.

@tyty333, those are .91ct and .97ct

Actually, you are quite right. The further away from the diamond, the more the dispersed ray will spread, thus increasing the chance that more dispersion will be seen from across a table than by the wearer.

You are obviously understanding the concept.

;-)

I wonder how far dispersed light travel from it's point if origin. And I don't really even know how large the dispersion will be from the size of a mirror. If there was a Math to that concept I would greatly consider the 8 H&A. But most common people don't really understand or even care of that concept as long is the stone is shiny hehe.

@Wink where's a great place to shop online for an excellent 8 H&A diamond?

Did she ask for a solasfera or 10 H&A stone?

A smaller stone is going to look even more busier IMO but if she likes that look then great!

Isn't there only the Solasfera having the 10 H&A's?

I wonder how far dispersed light travel from it's point if origin.

In space, light will travel in a straight line forever, unless scattered by particles or bent by gravity or interrupted by a solid object, as I understand it :razz:
