As many of you would know, my precious little mini foxie Bubbles is undergoing chemo for lymphoma. The last 2 days she has been coughing, which she did when she was first diagnosed, because her chest cavity was full of fluid, and her lymph nodes were so swollen her trachea was pushed to one side. Today is her chemo day and I told the vet about her cough. She''s very concerned and needs to do a chest Xray. If the fluid buildup is back and the nodes have suddenly grown, at this stage it means the chemo has failed, and there will be nothing left for us to do but have her put to sleep once she gets too ill to be happy.
Again, I''m so terrified we''re going to lose her, especially coming so far and her being so well for the past 4 months. The vet is also very worried because she is extremely attached to Bubbles, as is anyone who meets her! She has such an infectiously happy personality, even when she was too sick to lift her head, she''d muster a wag of her tiny tail!! I should find out results within the next few hours. I feel sick to my stomach. Please, if you could spare some dust for my little baby, I''d very much appreciate it (and so would she!!)
Thankyou
