Hi everyone!

I am looking for a loose diamond to be set into a proposal ring! After looking at physical diamonds and searching around online, I have narrowed my selection down to this 2 diamonds from WF.

My criteria for the diamond is as follows:
Carat: 0.70+
Color: H and above
Clarity: VS2 above
Cut Symmetry and Polish: Excellent
HCA score: under 1.5
Budget: About 3300~

The diamonds in question are as follows:

Diamond 1:
Carat: 0.713
Color: H
Clarity: VS2
Cut Symmetry and Polish: Excellent
HCA score: 1.3
Price: 3,089USD

Diamond 2:
Carat: 0.766
Color: H

Cut Symmetry and Polish: Excellent
HCA score: 1.3
Price: 3,639USD

My personal opinion:

Actually I was almost set on Diamond 1 because it met all my specifications, however, when looking at the ASETscope Image on its AGS certificate, I noticed that there is a patch of green near one of its facet near the girdle. I was wondering if this would affect the performance of the diamond. As for Diamond 2, it is an ACA diamond with better light performance than Diamond 1 but the upside is that it is bigger. Despite the price difference of 600, it seems to be a better deal...

The idealscope of the diamonds are as follows:
Diamond 1:

Diamond 2:

I have just one main question left before my decision on the diamond to get. That is, will the green patch for Diamond 1 affect the performance too much?

Thank you!!!

The actual ASET trumps the computer generated one.

That said I like the IS on #2 better, and it's bigger - and at that carat weight (I have a 0.74ct) every little bit of diameter helps.

I agree with ecf... #2 looks like a winner! :))

Same here, I like #2 the best. I would put that diamond on hold as soon as possible though, lurkers on PS may buy it before you do.

There's something about the middle of #2 that draws my eye toward it more than #1. I vote 2 too!
