Need Advise on WF micro Pave Setting/Diamond

First of all- THANK YOU for giving me so much great information as I am closing in on purchasing an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I know she likes the Princess cut, and so many endorsements of WF has led me there (after and exhaustive search). I have a budget of $2500 max and i''ve settled on the following diamond (relying on so many positive reviews of the ACA cut):

Now the setting. I know she likes diamonds around the band. She has a ring size of 7.5 and I want to make sure the pave setting would look good with the .54 c stone. here are my options. What do you think. Also, I would really like to order the ring today or tomorrow so I am not interested in a WF setting that takes several weeks to set.

thank You, do you think the stone is of good quality for the price range? It sacrifices on color, but with the AGS0 cut and good clarity, I thought it would be a great choice.

I am actually like the second setting better. I''m not really liking the really thing bankd on the first one and the setting of the stone. Just my opinion though.

I like #2. I like the bling-factor of the larger sidestones, and I also like the clean sides of the band.

That was my thought- that because the diamond is .54 in size, that the thinner the band the better. Would you agree?

That stone will be gorgeous in the Legato setting. Beautiful ACA and the thin bank. Nice combo.

Put that stone on hold if you are considering it. Lurkers sometimes snap up the nice ones.

I''d definitely pick no.1

No. 2''s heftier looking shanks may overwhelm the half-carat.

Number one for sure with a half-carat stone. The thinner the band, the bigger the diamond looks. I think that the thickness of the second band will overwhelm your diamond.

I just want to thank everyone for lending your opinions- as you confirmed what i was leaning towards anyway! I just put an order in with Whiteflash for the stone and the first (legato micro pave) setting I listed. Thanks Again, I can''t wait to get it!
