1 carat SI 2 6.5 mm excellent cut E colour GIA stone for 8000 14k gold band included. Ring is from a toronto dealer. Is this any good?

Not enough information. Is it eye-clean? Can you post the info from the GIA report? $8k Candian?
(depth, table, crown and pavilion angle).

This is a well cut stone that looks* like it might be eye-clean. Prices is about $4900.

8k canadian price. I'm not sure about the chart. Actually it wasn't GIA it was gem scan or something. He said they test it according to GIA. I didn't get a lot of the information you are asking for like the depth..It looked eye clean. There was no sign of milkiness

If you want to check out pricing from other canadian wholesalers, check out http://www.diamondexchange.ca/ (toronto) http://vancouverdiamonds.ca/ (vancouver). I have not dealt with these companies personally, but they offer GIA/AGS graded stones and seem to have good reviews among locals. You can even view GIA certicate of each diamond online.

In Vancouver, at least, 8k CAD is reasonable assuming the stone qualifies for GIA Ex grade. Do you live in Toronto? They are many local stores that are transparent and offer GIA/AGS graded stones at the same price you listed. 14k setting is generally around $500 anyways. Of course, US online stores are always cheaper even considering weak CAD. There is no import duty. Just GST/PST or HST.
