NEED ADVICE Three Stone Oval Ring

Howdy,

First off i am a Guy! I am getting ready to propose to my Girlfriend of two years this summer (will be a great story) and am searching for the prefect ring.

I actually was sent to this website because of a ring she pined on her pintrest (same ring several times apparently) which she left logged in on my computer and i am now using it as a tool to search for her ring. I have done considerable research on the diamond industry however i feel very clouded with respect to the Oval diamond and what makes it "shine" since most information is about "the big fat solitary or the flashy stuff".

She is interested in something like the Post i will link below, however it would be wonderful if anyone could provide me some insight to the depth and table and other statistics that are the best for the Oval diamond. Specifically in the Three Stone Set. and some tips to be aware of when buying a Oval three stone ring.

That looks very much like Brian Gavin Design's 3-stone trellis http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/e...stone/crossed-trellis-18k-yellow-gold-5460y18 or 3-stone crossed trellis http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/e...-stone/crossed-trellis-18k-white-gold-5460w18. I'd call them and ask whether either of those settings can be made to accomodate ovals. Also ask whether they can be made with a thicker shank.
