I need to decide between 3 diamonds:

1) 1.58ct H SI1 (graded by HRD)
7.43-7.49x4.65
girdle: 3%
culet: pointed
table: 58%
crown height: 15%
pavilion depth: 44.5%
proportions: very good
finish: good

PRICE: $14000CAD

2) 1.66ct H SI1 (graded by GIA)
7.70-7.74x4.59
depth: 59.5%
table: 58%
girdle: thn-med
culet: none
sym: very good
polish: very good
fluor: med yellow

PRICE: $15600CAD

3) 1.61ct E SI1 (graded by GIA)
7.44-7.53x4.68
depth: 62.5%
table: 58%
girdle: med-sltthk
culet: none
polish: very good
sym: very good
fluor: none

PRICE: $17000CAD

This is all the informatin I have at this time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am leaning towards the first one, but I am confused by the first stone. HRD ranks it as very good proportions, but the cutadvisor on this website gives it only 5.9.

Thank you.

You should use a currency converter to get US dollars, you can find one online. It may help you get responses.

1) 1.58ct H SI1 --> $9300 (US)
2) 1.66ct H SI1 --> $10400 (US)
3) 1.61ct E SI1 --> $11300 (US)

If anybody could give me some help with this, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks.

Don't forget that there's a 10% excise tax included in diamond prices here in Canada. I would subtract that as well from your converted prices to get more of an apples-to-apples comparison.

And edit your original post to include the prices in the event some people just read the first message and decide converting the prices is too much trouble for them so they don't continue to read.

My opinions:

1) so and so... nothing exceptional...

2) NO WAY!!!!! Med Yellow fluorescence is quite horrible in my opinion... Faint yellow could be OK, but medium could make the stone a bit more tinted than its original color...

3) Can you get a Sarin on this one?
