Hello everyone!

I''ve been lurking on this board for sometime now and getting some ideas from all the beautiful rings posted on here! Your rings are fantastic ladies. I decided to bite the bullet as I really need some assistance here.

I just picked up my wedding band. Here are the specifications:

7 stone, 0.1ct (10 points) each
Flanders cut diamonds (square with cut corners)

I love this ring! However something is not sitting right with me. I''m not sure if there are too many stones, or if they are too big to go with my soliataire princess e-ring. Maybe I need to remove 1 or possibly 2 stones? I feel like the band sticks out a little on the sides and although it doesn''t touch the nearby fingers, it looks like it does.

I also asked for very low profile (low setting), but it didn''t turn out as low as I would have liked. Do you think that its possible to go lower? or is the height ok?

Sorry if the pictures are not clear. I tried to get a few pics together in one so I could post multiple shots from different angles! Let me know if you would like bigger pics and I can attach those as well!

Please any help/guidance/advice would be HUGELY APPRECIATED!!!!

I think its a gorgeous ring. I think I does seem to sit rather high for your e-ring. I would probably have gone for slightly smaller stones if I was going to wear the two rings together.

I do like it though!

I love the look of rounds with a square cut stone, and it is a lovely ring on its own but perhaps it''s set too high? I''m not sure I would remove more stones. Would it be possible to ask your jeweler to set the stones lower? I think that would help the design flow better.

Gorgeous e-ring, by the way!

OOhhhh thats pretty! I don''t think its too high, but if its not sitting right (figuratively and literally) then you should have it changed. I am sure the jeweler could help you out.

thanks for the suggestion! would you able to post a pic of researchers rings?

I love it, I think that they make a beautiful set. Lots and lots of bling!!

Maybe a channel set would look sleeker against your ering? Then the stones would be sitting much lower.

Your ring is lovely, but might work better as a five-stone band. I have a five-stone wedding band on a 4.5 size finger and it is the same size as my e-ring. If there were additonal stones, such as a seven-stone band, it would stick out on the sides.

Thanks Marian, do you mind if I ask you about the specs of your 5-stone? I''m going back to the jeweller today to ask if I should have 1 or 2 stones removed! but not sure which yet!

thanks everyone for your help! Ive gotten my jeweller to redesign the band, to remove 1 stone and to make the setting U shaped instead of V shaped in order to set the stones even lower! I hope it turns out. I''m picking it up tomorrow and will post a picture of the new design! keep your fingers crossed!

The band is a thing of beauty. But... IMO there are too many stones. You would be better stacking odd numbers. I think the solitaire with 5 in the band might be a better look (IMO).

It''s a pretty ring but I would prefer if there was a smoother transition of metal after the last stone on either side. I am not loving the strong angle of the last stone with nothing below it. But maybe that would have made the ring too thick since the stones are so large. Is it comfortable to wear? 7 stones is a lot and they are pretty large. And very unique. I''ve never seen Flanders stones in that size.
