i''m new to this forum. i discovered PS while researching the setting for my ring.
i am resetting my 1.5 ct. into a channel and bead set shank with channel and bead set halo.
i will be using 3 pts for the shank diamonds (10 of them, 5 on each side)and it will be about 3mm...but i haven''t decided on whether to use 1/2 pt or 1 pt for the halo diamonds. i do know it will be 2mm. do you think 1/2 pt or 1 pt will look better? or maybe there isn''t much of a difference? the price difference isn''t much. i''m more concerned about the overall size of the surface. i have small fingers size 3.5 and i don''t want a super huge ring. i don''t know if using 1pt. will make the ring bigger than i want.
