Hi there,

Just recently started looking at ring's for my gf. Leaning towards to a similar style of the Tiffany Soleste with the double halo.
I just wanted advice on how important the ideal diamond proportions are for a cushion cut. I've read up on alot of literature
and the more I read, it seems like this kind of cut doesn't follow the same laws as some other cuts.

Below is the diamond I'm looking at which is fitting my budget at the time, so just wanted to get some feedback from you guys.

Thanks in advance!

SHAPE
Cushion
CUT
Modified Brilliant
MEASUREMENTS 5.85 x 5.41 x 3.69 mm
(length x width x depth in mm)
CARAT WEIGHT
0.950 carat
COLOR GRADE
F
FLUORESCENCE None
PRESENCE
PRECISION OF CUT Excellent
SYMMETRY Very Good
POLISH Excellent
CLARITY GRADE
VS2
ENHANCEMENTS None
(Besides Cut/Polishing)
CUT PROPORTIONS
TOTAL DEPTH PERCENTAGE 68.2%
TABLE SIZE PERCENTAGE 65%
CROWN HEIGHT PERCENTAGE 13.5%
CROWN ANGLE 37.8°
PAVILION DEPTH PERCENTAGE 49.5%
PAVILION ANGLE 36.7°
GIRDLE THICKNESS Medium To Thick
GIRDLE FINISH Faceted

I'm more concerned about the total depth and table size since according to the parameters it won't give me the maximum brilliance,
fire and scintillation.

Is this a Tiffany diamond?

You can't (unfortunately) assess fancy shapes by the numbers - you need light performance images (preferably an ASET). Tiffany does not provide such information. That said, Tiffany cuts lovely stones. If possible I would have them call in several rings in your price range, look at them in person side by side, and see which one looks most appealing to your eye.
