Hey guys! My bf is asking what I want for my birthday coming up . I was toying with the idea of getting a wf aca necklace. Something small and dainty . Probably like 0.40 with white gold setting. Can you tell me the pros and cons for these 2 styles?

Style #2 is a fixed pendant setting and the pendant is more likely move off centre or flip.

I like the one without the bale. I just prefer the look of it but YMMV. I think the most important thing is just to pick the one you like the best.

It is possible to have a slider without the bale, however, it may need to be custom-made if WF does not stock it.

I have a custom 6 prong WF ACA with a sliding bale. It always sits front and centre all day with no flipping. Overnight is does sometimes move around the back but I just spin it back round.

I think first of all, you need to decide if you like the look of a bale or not. If yes, then your decision is easy. If no, then you have to decide if you want a fixed type pendant, or a sliding pendant without the bale. I prefer the sliding pendant without the bale, but as @dk168 says, it may require a custom setting if WF doesn't stock it. Especially if you want prong set vs bezel ( I think they do have a sliding bezel setting). I'm not sure what a custom sliding setting with prongs would cost but if that's your preference you can certainly ask.
