Happy holidays, everyone! I hope that you all are able to relax and spend time with family and friends and thank you in advance for your help and advice.

My best friend is hoping you can help him find a last minute gift for his wife, who was just diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer (at age 24!). As you can imagine, it’s quite and shock and in all of the rush of hospitalizations and tests, Christmas presents weren’t on his mind. I know we won’t be able to get anything in time, but am hoping to get something soon after the holidays.

She really likes a lot of the dainty necklaces posted on Trabert Goldsmith’s Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/trabertgoldsmiths)

Unfortunately, it’s a bit out of the budget with the hospital bills right now. I’m hoping that your collective advice could point me in the direction of a reasonable designer or Etsy vendor who might have a similar boho/carefree style in the range of under $1000. She’s pretty sold on the yellow gold look but otherwise open.

Thanks again for all of your help and advice at a busy time. You guys are always an invaluable resource!

Sherry

Edited to change budget!

Thanks for the suggestions! They’re so fun!

Apparently I misunderstand and she doesn’t like yellow gold. So we’re now hunting for something in white gold. It seems like she really likes items that are geometric.

Thanks!!

Nice find! Unfortunately she’s not as open to preloved as I am and I think a little thinner/daintier.

Keep the suggestions coming!! Thank you guys so much for taking time out of your holiday celebrations!

This is a jewelry store local to me that I've used for several custom items -- their prices are usually quite reasonable and I saw this new line on their instagram, although I haven't asked about prices. They say they have other styles and colors. They've always been really helpful, if you call them I'm sure they'd send you photos of what they've got, although they are likely now closed til after Christmas. https://www.instagram.com/p/BbpdVC-hURF/?taken-by=jlewisjewelry

I've bought from Trademark Antiques on etsy before -- conversions from pins to rings -- and they have some charming conversions now into necklaces or rings. I don't know if this would fall into pre-loved? They're definitely vintage and have the quirks you'd expect from that. People tend to either like that or not. https://www.etsy.com/shop/TrademarkAntiques/items

And then for online, Bonnie Levy has some similar items on sale at Nordstrom -- a fun necklace https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/dana-r...gory-personalizedsort&fashioncolor=WHITE GOLD

and a ton of delicate stacking rings https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/bony-l...gory-personalizedsort&fashioncolor=WHITE GOLD

https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/bony-l...edsort&fashioncolor=WHITE GOLD/ BLUE SAPPHIRE

https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/bony-l...rsonalizedsort&fashioncolor=LONDON BLUE TOPAZ

https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/bony-l...01444&price='$300-$500~~80'|'$500-$1,000~~90'

Hope you find something great!!

I’m confused as all of the necklaces she liked were preloved/antique. Are you sure she only wants new?

Merry Christmas everyone!

1C7C91E4-CC1E-44B6-8F2A-EE68DA9C37FF.png I follow Stone and Strand on Instagram because I really liked some of the delicate pieces. I have never ordered from them but I think that it would be a good place to take a look as there are all price points and it has the same vibe. Uploading a photo from their feed. I am so sorry to hear about your friend

Although not geometric, the infinity symbol may be a nice idea under the circumstances and you can get them engraved if you like.
