Are you okay with the rectangular aspect ratio of stone #1? At 1.05, it looks a bit off-square. I also think the long side throws off the symmetry of the cut, as you can see by the diminished light return in the east-west direction

I prefer #2 for sure, even at 10% more expensive.

I agree w/ gosaunders

I'm not very knowledgeable on fancy cuts but, between these 2, the Aset image is enough for me to choose #2

I'm definitely leaning toward Diamond 2, but when taking a closer look at the online photos, I noticed some dots and blemishes. I'm not sure if these are just lint, dirt, and oils or if they are actual inclusions. I'm hoping you guys can take a look and let me know what they look like to you. I would really appreciate it.

Here are the images:

Those do look like pinpoint inclusions. You should be able to match them to the GIA cert's inclusion plot.

Are you looking for a flawless stone under magnification? Those pictures are from 10x-12x magnification on my screen, and the flaws are barely visible, pretty much in line with the VS1 rating. In real life, no one would be able to see them, especially because they're white in color.

The GIA cert only shows a cloud in the lower left quadrant of the stone face (very close to center). It states that "Additional clouds are not shown" and "Pinpoints are not shown". That's why I wanted to get an opinion on these other blemishes that I'm seeing. However, you are right, I don't believe anyone will be able to see these with their naked eyes.
