Okay, I''m going to take a look at the below 2 diamonds tomorrow and was wondering your thoughts. The I color is a little bigger, but it''s I color vs. H. Which would you get given the price is about the same?

The one that looked best to my eyes.

You have the luxury of actually seeing these. Take your time, compare, and get the one that "speaks" to you. You''ll know!

Looking at just the ASET images, i would personally get the second. The H colored stone. It just seems to have a more even light return from the image.

I guess, it depends on which one speaks to you the most. I would take a look at the pictures and see what you think.

Sorry i cant be of more help! Best of luck in your purchase

Personally I''d go for the bigger one. Plus I just don''t think the I would be a problem in a cut that good, but I''m not color sensitive either. You''re lucky you''ll be able to see them in person, so get whichever looks best. Let us know either way!

Tough call. The ASETs both look good (with the exception of the right side of the first stone, but I really think the stone is just tilted a tad), and the visual difference in either size or color will be imperceptible or barely so.

As Ellen said, you''re lucky to be able to see these! Since you''re going to WF, I''d recommend taking a peek at some X-factors while you''re there as well. The X-factor is a pretty unique cut to WF, and the ones I''ve seen here in the forums are consistently stunning. This one looks really nice.

I''m kinda torn at the moment, but you''re right, I''m fortunate enough to live right next to Whiteflash so I can go in and look at them in person so that should help my decision. I''m even more fortunate in that my meeting tomorrow is with Brian, the cutter .

If you are able to see them side by side you will know which one you want. They are both beautiful. I like bigger but the color may make your decision. Have fun!

Oh, this is kinda random, but did I mention yet that I have an I/VVS2 ACA princess? If you get the first one, you''ll have the "sister" stone to mine!

Hi guys, I just got back from Whiteflash and am now the proud owner of a 1.062 carat, VVS1, I color, ACA princess cut diamond! I met with Brian at Whiteflash and he initially talked to me for about an hour about diamonds in general, cuts, what makes the brilliance of the diamond, etc. VERY informative! He then laid out the 2 above stones as well as 2 others I was considering without me knowing which was which. They were all ACA except for one, ranging from SI1 to VVS1, and I - G color. I looked at them under "jewelry store" lighting, normal lighting, dim lighting, an ASET imaging tool, and so forth. It was VERY hard to distinguish between the diamonds being they were all such perfect cuts. In the end I chose the 1.062. I''m not sure why, but to me it looked the best and I honestly couldn''t even tell the color difference between the I and the G face up.

Brian said the ASET image above was just taken at a bad angle with the stone slightly turned just as someone posted above. He mentioned how hard it is to get a good picture. I was able to view the stone through ASET in person and it looked great! Also, the stone was mismarked on the website, it''s actually a VVS1, not a VVS2 (not that I could tell either).

All is all I''ve been very happy with my Whiteflash experience so far, I highly recommend them. Next up, I''m having them custom design a ring for me :)
