My visit to Mulloys...

I went to Mulloys jewelers today in Carlsbad California.
It was a nice experience. We ordered my ring (i have a size 3.5 finger)
i took some photos of the ring and a band. I''m trying to decide if i want a
band or not...
what do you girls think?
with band or no band?

It was a lot of fun to meet her and to see all these peices that she had.

I love that setting- it''s so modern yet classic. I would totally get the wedding band too- I love small gaps between rings.

I think it looks perfect with that band! FOr me, I wouldn''t feel ''complete'' without a w-band.....

ok.. ooh so many things to talk about...
so much fun..
i was thinking of doing the NO BAND thing.. but after seeing them together a couple of times
FI was like... YOUR GETTING THE BAND. and it''ll be a tacori band too. (in his military SGT. voice)
so i''m like oK

My 1st husband did pass away. this is the 2nd time around for me...
my FI and i first started dating last year and in the beginning, he knew he wanted to marry me.
but i didn''t want to get married. I felt this way:
i''ve been down that road before and I LOVED IT. it was a beautiful time of my life and i wouldn''t trade
it for the world. so why get married again? right... i had an awesome marriage to my 1st hubby (ryan) although
it was short (8months) but i just didn''t want to tarnish that memory.

fast forward to present day..
i really love my FI (thomas) and find myself more so every day.
he LOVES my son like his own. has never had a problem taking care of him
i don''t think i''ve changed a diaper since he''s been in the picture...
and i do want to spend forever with him. we want another child together. i didn''t feel like we should have
to get married to have children (since both of us have been married b4). but being a teacher, it''s a very fine line to
walk. as a teacher i have to set an example and being a single pregnant woman is not so great. not that i care what others
think.

thomas did propose to me so this ring... it''s sorta like a promise ring. we''ll probably get married ONE DAY.

the photos that i posted in this thread is my actual hand with the actual ring! it''s the ring i''m getting. they have a cz in it right now
we''re picking out the stone. it will be a 1.5-1.6 ct. i''m going to be picking it up MAY 2nd. I think i''m going to wear it with the CZ till we get a stone.
i know it''s cheesy but.. damm. i love that ring. and besides, nobody is gonna ask and I''M not gonna tell that it''s a cz..

it''ll be our little secret hehehehe
