My visit to H. Moradi

I was lucky enough to be in San Diego last week for a conference, and we made a trip up to La Jolla. On the advice of Neatfreak I stopped in to check out H. Moradi, an antique and estate jeweler.

I was very impressed with their selection of large old cuts and also many designer pieces. Their prices also were very fair! I actually would put their prices for estate old cuts and vintage rings about on par with many ebay dealers, and perhaps a little lower than JBEG and OWD. This was just my impression, don't quote me on it

I took some photos of course. One ring I am KICKING myself for not asking to see was what must have been a five carat OEC gleaming in the window. Shame on me

So if anyone is in that area I highly recommend stopping by to looK! You can also go to the beach as see the sea lions and pelicans and insane swimmers out in the surf

This is an amazing 3ct antique cushion they had. I think it was L-M color. Looked amazing. The crown was about one hundred miles high!

What a great conference to be sent to - the Zoo, the ocean and the diamonds!! Wonderful combination Love the rings you photographed! One of those eternity bands is calling my name.... (and I can hear my wallet running in the opposite direction!)

I have always wanted to go to H Moradi! I don't live all that far from them and am in that area several times a year, but for some reason

Hey, I have been there a couple times. They have some really nice jewelry. I didn't know you could take pics or I would have!

I am glad you enjoyed SD, I lived there for 7 years and I miss it.

I admit I was a little embarassed taking the photos or I would have taken way more Most of them I took through the window! But they seemed not to mind at all. So I wish I had asked to take more. And I am totally kicking myself for not asking to see the massive OEC they had!!

OMG!!! I went there a few years ago after my BBFs wedding. DH had to drag me away from the window. They have amazing items! I didn't get to go in or ask about the prices, nice to know that their prices are so fair!
