My Vintage Inspired Reset !!

I am so happy to share my new engagement ring setting with all of you! I was blown away with sample in the store... specifically the detailed engraving and the elegant simplicity.

After selecting and purchasing my new setting (butterflies) the jewelry store told me the designer usually only needed 2 weeks to complete his work. I thought that was fantastic. 5 weeks later... the designer made the wrong setting! It sort-of looked like the sample in the store. Everyone agreed that they were not identical. 2 weeks later and I was finally a happy lady!

I used to have a bypass setting with side stones that was very similar to your original ring with the enhancer. The transformation to your new setting is just incredible! The intricate details are beautiful and it really sets off your diamond. Nicely done.

Thanks tyty333! Yes I have thought about having engraving done on my wedding band. I think it would add a nice touch but I am in no hurry. I'll keep David Klass in mind.

I have some concerns about the stones in my wedding band rubbing away at the setting. This happened to my solitaire. To prevent this from happening I have been wearing a plane band on most days. I saw this pretty thing on Etsy... which might be a great solution and addition!

Yes, the knife edge is fantastic! At first I had second thoughts about pursuing a reset (especially when the weeks kept dragging on). However, I am happy to report no regrets! Thanks SparklySoprano!

I can't believe how balanced the new setting is compared to my wedding band. The new setting just stays put while my wedding band rotates. Makes me think the new setting is well made.

Thanks Bonfire!! Finding a setting that also went well with my 5-stone was a challenge. To be honest I truly have my heart set on a halo some day ... with a new stone ...

Anyway - My 5-stone just didn't look good with all of the halo settings I paired with it. I had the 'aa-ha' moment when I tried on the vintage sample. Just had a good feeling, ya know?
