I’m so excited to post here. My partner proposed in 2012 in NYC after buying a diamond in the diamond district. We knew nothing about diamonds and our diamond has since been graded as an L SI2. I never really liked it but the 3ct size was really all I wanted. After finding pricescope and falling in love with Victor Caneras rings I decided that one day I would be getting an upgrade. I stumbled upon lab diamonds by accident and after reading about them and watching endless YouTube videos I decided that I could get a great diamond within my budget. Since then I have heard them referred to as the equivalent of test tube babies and this made the diamond have all the more meaning to us (hope that doesn’t offend anyone). To me this makes total sense ... diamonds are generated differently but have the same outcome. I reached out to Nicholas at VC and he found me a diamond with excellent specs, colour and clarity. My diamond is a type 2a and the hearts and arrows photos are really quite unreal. I feel so lucky to have this ring. The ring was set within two weeks of sending the money which was far quicker than I imagined. It is currently on Victors Instagram page in a little video if anyone wants to have a look as the model wears it beautifully. Here are some pics of my gorgeous ring xx

Thank you everyone. I’m just blown away with it. Nicholas at Victor Canera found a beauty. I’m so grateful to him for getting a stone that is comparable to their ideal cut natural diamonds. And the F is so icy compared to my L. I honestly love it :D

Beautiful! It’s great to see a MMD in a VC Setting. Shows that it really doesn’t matter if mined or grown. All that matters is that the diamond is beautiful!

Great pictures, congratulations! :)

I didn't realise VC worked with MMD so that's good info for the forum :))

Yes VC works and sources MMD stones. I sent Nicholas a link to a stone I’d seen to ask his opinion. He came back to me with a better cut stone that was cheaper!!!!!!!!!! I’m sure they get some sort of finders fee from diamond sellers but the stone he found me was ideal specs, came with H&A images and said it was a type 2a on the IgI cert. I cannot believe my luck at owning such a piece <3

I love your ring! And the setting is beautiful! I considered one similar, it’s very vintage looking to me and I just love it. Congratulations on your new ring, it’s lovely!
