Hi everyone. You might remember that I posted about this tourmaline recently, asking for setting inspirations. Well, I’m afraid after swooning over @elle_71125 beautiful Verragio mounts, i was reminded of just how much I love that style. So, reluctant to pay Verragio money, I had a similar mount made in white & yellow gold, and I love how everything turned out. It’s totally OTT and I love it that way! The tourm shifts between various greens & teals, and is extremely brilliant. It’s a nice contrast to the fire of the diamonds. Time to spam some photos I took today in between the bouts of rain.

For reference, the stone is 8mm, and 3.26cts. Bought from Litnon about 6 years ago. (Yes, it took me that long to set it!)

Omg that is just glorious perfection!!!!! Beautiful!!! Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful :love::love:

Gorgeous lovely blingy setting it really suits your stone!

It turned out beautifully! I love the style you went with and I’m especially loving the inner yellow gold halo. It gives the ring a great touch and makes the tourmaline pop! :cool2: Plus, the profile details are gorgeous. :kiss2:

Ooooo BEAUTIFUL!!:love::love::love: Sometimes it takes a while for a stone to be set because...well...because:lol-2::mrgreen2: I've got more than a few sitting around waiting on something to happen.

Gorgeous!!! :love::love:

Gorgeous! I'm sorry I don't have more creative words to express the beauty that I see. I love the details in the gallery and the yellow halo. Such detailed love and care went into the setting. This ring is very special! :kiss2:

Thank you! That’s the trouble on PS, there are so many beautiful pieces that we can feel like a broken record sometimes! It took ages finding the right setting, but I’m happy I waited. =)2

Thank you! To be honest, the first couple of times I tried setting stones, I had bad experiences and it scared me off trying again until recently. Hoping I got all the bad luck out the way now so I can continue to get my other stones set! :)

Thank you!:) the inside of the band is yellow gold too, but it’s hard to tell from my pics. Really happy I finally pulled the trigger and finally get this stone set. It’s too nice to sit in a box. ;)

Thank you! It’s always such a relief when projects finally get done isn’t it? Now I’m not allowed to spend any more money until next year though, boo!

Thanks! It’s funny, I actually have a cz ring with a stone almost identical to this, and I love that I can now choose if I want to wear the ‘cheap version’ or this ‘nicer verson!’

Your ring turned out so beautifully! I love the two-tone halo.

Who did you use to create your verragio inspired master?

I cannot imagine waiting six months to have that beauty set....but the outcome was well worth the wait!!

Wow another #JOTW right here. We are lucky to have so many beautiful creations being shared with us. The setting came out absolutely perfect for this tourmaline, it’s magnificent. Worth waiting six years for!

Breathtaking stone and setting! What a beautiful harmony of design!

This one was well worth the wait, and I hope it brings good luck your way always!

Such a pretty color. Love all the details! And thank you for sharing that it took you 6 years to decide on the perfect setting. It helps me to remember that there's no hurry to set all my stones.

Thank you! Nope, there’s definitely no rush, for me at least. The settings will always be there, so it’s worth holding out until what you decide feels right. =)2

Thank you! I worked with Leejewelery on eBay. I really like their work, and the prices are very reasonable.

I know what you mean! For some reason though I just had to hold out with this until the right mount came along. I’ve wanted a Verragio for years, but wasn’t sure what a CS centre would look like. I’m really happy I took a gamble with this and didn’t settle for something else :)

Lol, I wish!! Those are always such amazing pieces, I could never compete... But yes, we are super lucky to have so many pieces to swoon over, although I have to steer clear of PS when I’m not allowed to spend money as it’s too enabling!

Thank you! I have a one year old daughter, and I’m hoping she’ll also get to enjoy my jewellery when she’s older. (Or maybe she won’t be into jewellery and I’ll just have to disown her lol!)

Breathtakingly beautiful

Gorgeous!! Both the stone and the setting. Your jeweller from ebay did a great job
