Hi, all.... Finally, after all these time of waiting, looking, searching, even trading-in and what have you.... My project (that began early 2009) is finished.

It all started with one stone, then two, then I got so confused on what to make first. I kept going back and forth to PS and the goldsmith. In the end, this is a 2009 and 2010 jewellery project, plus a pair of studs as a birthday present. YAY !

To all PS-ers who have helped me chosing the stone, givint ideas on settings and one that I copied the ring from (sorry I can''t remember who it was), thank you very much. This is a set that I will treasure forever.

And here are the pictures.....

The studs.... These are the hardest to take a good picture of, so please excuse the quality of the picture

And then all of them together....

And finally, in their little bed. Thank you all for looking.

Everything is beautiful!

Holy smokes, I am in love with all of it!!! Lucky you!

WOW is all I can think to say! Tell us about the diamonds. They are all so white, bright and sparkly.

Great collection! I saw on the under the 1 carat thread that your engagement ring was .48? Are they all the same size?

Beautiful! Congratulations on a job well done!

Very cool! And classic, stunning pieces!

Beautiful set!!! They look great!!!! Congrats on finishing your projects!!!

Thanks for the compliments, chiquitapet, lknvrb4, beechezz, gemgirl, tyty333, and MakingTheGrade... I enjoy them as much as I enjoy my new set of blings.

Addy, the ring in the under 1 carat is the same one (same ring).

Gemgirl, the stone in the ring is actually a Lazare Kaplan stone that has been GIA graded. It''s the prettiest thing, which is why it ends up in the ring (then I can look at it all the time. LOL). I think when I first consulted the experts here, they said that the only thing making it only triple VG and not Exc is the very thin girdle. Anyway, the stats are: 48 pts JSi2 (Si2 ??where ?? what ??), 34.5 crown angle, 41 pav, 56% table and 61.1% depth with VG Polish, Cut and Symmetry.

The studs and the pendant were bought loose from MLOPROS. The studs are 97 points GI1''s a pair, but the cut makes up for the inclusions, and I don''t plan for people to whisper sweet nothings to my ear (except for DH who doesn''t even know what difference an FL and I3 makes. Haha.), so I am sure the normal people wouldn''t be able to see anything but the sparkles... The pendant is a 67 pointers JVS2. Mike is really good !! One of the reasons I bought from him was that he is in the "good e-bay seller" list in PS. =)

I don''t know about you, but face up, they look fine and the flashes of rainbow hid any warmth whatsoever. From the sides, the ring and the pendant do show a little warmth. I am so happy with them, and am ready for my next project (???). Haha... seriously, this never ends, does it ???

Who did you have set the earrings and pendant? The prongs look perfect!

Wow equator, that is a great set! So white and so sparkly.

Congrats on finishing your project, and wear them in good health!

Addy, the stones were all bought as loose stones. The first picture is the LK stone.

I have a friend who is a very meticulous goldsmith, and would redo the pieces he does again and again until he (and his clients) are happy with it to set these stones. Even the chain of this set is handmade, which is why it''s heavy for it''s size and length (over 5.5 grams of gold).

wow, that''s a really unique setting! love your collection!

What a great set!!!! The 3 prongs are a nice choice!
