Hi, I am going to try this although I am not sure it will work. I am engaged to the love of my life as of Easter Sunday. Here is the three band estate wedding set we picked out together. The pictures don''t do it justice, but you can use your imagination. The center stone is 1.6 ct and tcw is 2.5.

Here is the engagement ring alone on my finger.

Here is one view of the completed set.

Here is another view of the three rings separated. When we are married I will wear the completed set.

Congratulations!!

Your wedding set is very unique and commanding

Thanks haha... that was my first "commanding"--although my father laughed when he first saw it and called it a doorknob. Oh well, I love it and we are not a typical couple so we definitely wanted something different.

In my haste to post pictures I didn''t include specs:

1.6ct, 2.5 tcw
14k white gold
color: J
Clarity: I1
cut: very good

We bought it off of Ebay through an estate jeweler. It came with a recent appraisal from an independent lab who appraised it at 4 times as much as we paid. Our own appraiser confirmed this. I highly recommend buying estate if you don''t have a huge budget but need a big diamond for your extra-large hands!

Gorgeous and unique. Congratulations on your engagement and your jewelry find! (I would take a "doorknob" anytime.)

Oh, I saw this on ebay and fell in love with it!!! It was on my favorites list for a long time, I would just go and stare at it...I am so happy it found a good home, I think this set is just stunning and looks beautiful on you! Wear it in health and happiness, and congrats!

really cool rings!! What size do you wear?

Haha ditto tigian - send the "doorknob" my way, if you decide against it

It's a stunner!

I love seeing something a little different on here! It''s beautiful. And congrats!

Thanks! I saw it on there and bought it the following day after some negotiations to knock the price down. After I bought the ring he refunded me $800 more because some small things were misrepresented... but I was NOT about to return it. I wear a size 8.

I found the ring because I knew I wanted something different. I didn''t even necessarily need a huge one just something that wasn''t typical. Initially I had found a diamond swirl ring on Zales.com that I really liked. After trying to find another diamond swirl I found this one and knew it was perfect. He had a really good return policy (important to me) but as soon as we got the rings we knew we had found the one(s).

Mostly I am just so excited about my future husband. I am completely in love and haven''t ever really come down from the clouds since our first date. However this isn''t a forum about that so I won''t go on

very unique - it''s lovely :)

WOW~ that is some serious bling!

you said it''s estate - do you know how old it is?

I have no idea how old it is. I am guessing not terribly old because it was not listed as vintage or antique.

I want to mention that the hand picture taken above was done by Corie Torpie. She is an amazing wedding photographer and you can see her work here:

coreytorpieweddings.com

if you want to use her just mention kaitlin and kelbyn!

Beautiful set. A 3 band set is not normally my favorite, but yours is spectacular!!

Congrats on the engagement!

It is actually one of the first (maybe only) I have ever seen. Thanks for the compliment! I have only been wearing it for two weeks and the excitement has not worn off. I asked my mother who has been remarried for 7 years if it ever gets old and she said no. I don''t think this will either!
