Just wanted to share my new custom ring from MDZ featuring a 0.83ct H, Si2 marquise in a white gold cathedral setting from MDZ. It was important for me to share here as it is by reading Pricescope on a regular basis that I found My Diamond Zone (and quite a few other amazing vendors too but that is for another post!). I had purchased a few beautiful items from their store over the past year and this was the first time that I have had a custom ring made by them. Ilya was very responsive and chatting to him over email was like talking to an old friend. I felt calmer during this whole ring making process in comparison to previous projects and that is saying something about MDZ!
Additionally, while I feel that I have learned bucketloads about buying an ideal cut round from fellow Pricescopers, fancies are a whole other ball game and it was nice to have someone that I could trust to give me an honest opinion about the fancies they had in their inventory.
The best bit is: the entire thing was completed for $2k and under the strict budget I had set. So happy! I am currently in the middle of a full house renovation right now and didn't think that an ering upgrade like this could happen for me (for those that have undergone the hellish house renovation, you know that I'm bleeding money right now and things are tight!). MDZs prices are affordable and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a nice quality custom piece working within a budget.
And here are some pics.
Some images from MDZ on completion of ring - at first I was underwhelmed with these pics. The shank looks wider than I had hoped it would be and blunt but in-real-life the shank is delicate and just perfect!
Tenny tiny milgrain
Not nice photo of diamond, but nice hand perspective shot
