My husband and I are currently searching for a larger home and hope to find something within the next few months. When we were discussing our Christmas gifts for each other, I decided that I’d rather just save $ for the house. Nevertheless I wanted something exciting to open on Christmas morning so I decided to get myself a fun lab diamond. I originally was looking for something 5+ cts but the cut of this 4.03 ct F VS1 caught my eye. It has a 45% table and reminds me of an AVR. The size is more impressive on my size 5.25 finger than I was expecting. It’s raining here so my pic was taken in poor inside lighting but I wanted to share anyways. I will add more pictures once the weather cooperates. IMG_6288.jpeg

Looks great, Mjay!
Best of luck on your home hunting adventures!

The cut looks very nice!

Nice!

Ooh, this is beautiful!! Any thoughts about a setting yet?

That’s quite a beautiful stocking stuffer!!! Gorgeous!! Can’t wait to see how you set it.
Merry Christmas indeed!

Good luck with the house hunting.

ETA where did you find this gem?

Oh wow that's very pretty! And so glad you could still be on track with house hunting and have a nice bauble for Christmas.

Thank you! I was initially thinking a simple platinum Tiffany style solitaire, but now that I’ve been playing around with it; I’m thinking 18k yellow gold.

Thank you! It’s going to be a very exciting year! I initially found it on b2C but price compared and found it on multiple websites. Raad jewelers had the best price by far. I had a great experience ordering from them.

That would be lovely! Looking forward to seeing it.

I LOVE this one! can’t wait to see it set

OMG, you missed "fun" ring and landed a spectacular stunner. I love it and hope you have a great time picking the setting and please share a picture of the finished ring with us.

Gorgeous! I am a sucker for that teeny, tiny, table.

Beautiful diamond! Can't wait to see how you set it!!

@Mjay Love this stone! It's exactly what I'm hunting for. I'm having no luck finding good oec cut labs. Do you mind sharing a couple sites? So many just have RBs...

Thank you! I think I originally found this guy on b2cjewels but also found it listed on raad jewelers and loosegrowndiamond. I purchased from raad jewelers because they had the best price. I filtered by table % to find it.

So basically the oec cuts are hidden! Well there's my Sunday afternoon plans ;)
Any other tips/tricks are welcome!

I liked these 2... note: we dont all like the same patterns, i just liked both of these, not sure if 3ct is enough for you!

I don't know how you do it! I'd love to see the reports on these two. On loosegrown I couldn't get to any tables under 50!
I'm looking ideally for 4ct, but 3-4ct ok if I can find one.

Correct on LGD you cant do tables under 50, or at least I never could, LOL

On ritani you can but I have never gotten any hits. I think you just have to try daily and get lucky! LOL

*Both of the above are 50% tables, the one is actually uncertified, the other one is IGI report LG640487410
