My square-ish emerald cut E-ring!

I am having a hard time taking pictures of my ring, but I'll see if this captures it at all...

After looking at loads of stones, this one, the first one I saw, is what he got. I can't stop staring at it!

It is an 8.4 carat J stone, amazingly cut (you can disappear down the middle!), set in platinum. The tapered baguettes on the sides are just under .50 carats. I'm a 5.5 (or L, UK) ring size. I preferred the "life" in this stone over whiter ones, somehow. This one still appears completely white, even if I put it next to an F stone ring I have. Ummmm, what else. It has three steps on top, four on the bottom. It is from Graff, which is why I suppose the cut is so good.
