My Sparkle Baby is here!

Hello All, I say this is my baby because it feels like it has been 9 months in the making. I have been researching diamonds here on PS since about August or September of 2009 and at the beginning of this year we bought a diamond on line. We ended up sending it back and getting a slightly bigger one. In the mean time I had been working on a custom designed ring with a local jeweler and it finally is finished. Woo Hoo! So here are the stats and some pictures. And thanks to all of you here on PS for helping myself and others, what a great site!

Thank you all for your comments. I have been thinking about the day I could finally post my own pictures to share as I have been drooling over all of your rings for months now.

Jill_S, thanks for remembering about the I color.

I was a little concerned before we actually got the diamond but once we saw it I thought it looked white also. In certain lights I can see the warmth but with all the other diamonds around it it shows up white in the setting.

I do find myself looking down at my finger a lot. lol

It is a stand alone. My old ring had the engagement ring with a thick band and an anniversary band so this time around I wanted just one ring to try something different.

Thanks PSers for all your comments. This site is so great. As I was going through this process of buying and designing this ring, I would spend hours pouring over this site and looking at all the beautiful rings. I kind of feel like I should start looking through them again, just for fun! lol
