Did everything go ok with the appraiser? and did you find someone to size it alright? I won't say I'm glad I could help until you tell me everything went alright!

The side stones are G VS1 and .21 ct (total I think)
The shank is ~2 mm at the widest point and each bit of the split is ~1.5.

The ring design was a bit of a compromise that went like this over the course of a year:
Me: I want an asscher.
Him: Why dont you want a round.
Me: Nope an asscher please.
Him: okay, okay (sigh...... my mother has a very pretty round diamond in a yellow gold setting, but my girlfriend, no she is difficult)
Me: I want a three stone.
Him: I really like the solitaire look
Me: Um a solitaire with a pave split shank.
Him: No thats too over the top.
Me: Three stone????
Him: Just pick something out, you have worn me down.
Me: how about a split shank three stone with pave.
Him: I like the split shank three stone NO pave.
We both ended up happy.
I''m still waiting on the paperwork for the appraiser. I should have it by friday. She was just so cute and really impressed by all of the info GOG sent along with the stone. I really liked her. As for the sizing I think it will be fine the way it is. It got colder and now its more comfortable. She did suggest a couple of places in clayton (Elleard Heffern) , so that is where I''ll go if I change my mind.
