Okay, Chrono told me to post photos of my sapphire ring. When I had the diamond from my engagement ring reset a few months ago, I had the jeweler put my loose blue sapphire into the original setting. It is a 5mm Montana sapphire cut by Dan Stair. The color is a lighter blue. The color is strong, the shade is light.

It is funny actually... while I didn't like my diamond in this setting, the sapphire looks great. The shank is very thin and the six prongs give the sapphire something. Not sure what it is. The sapphire looks like it almost floating on my finger. Sometimes, I wear this ring in place of my e-ring... it is that pretty! I think that a colored gem solitaire would be beautiful as an e-ring.

The setting is palladium. It looks like yellow gold because of the box!

WOW it looks really really cool. LOVE the color. Looks very nice in your setting. What size is your finger?

Nice project.

Hi Joolskie. Your sapphire solitaire is marvelous. I bought a Montana Sapphire ring at the mall and really like them. They are teal. Enjoy your ring. I think a colored ering is pretty.

Very pretty!

Gorgeous, what a lovely sapphire! It looks very sparkly with nice color.

That''s very beautiful, reminds me of a blue diamond with that brilliant round faceting and the color.
