Initially, I posted these pics in the wrong thread

For those of you who have seen them, I hope you don't mind taking a second look at my colored stones!! This is my Ceylon sapphire that was recut and reset. It was 1.73 ct, but had sustained some abrasions over the 20 years that I have owned it. My jeweler sent it out for recutting and repolishing and I am very pleased with the results!! It is now 1.69 ct, so it lost very little in the recut. I used to have it in a three stone ring. This summer, I reset my e-ring in a halo setting and had a beautiful semimount that needed a new center stone. I had the sapphire set in the semimount and here are a few pics

Instead of starting a separate thread, this is my other colored stone. It is a new .5 ct emerald set in a split shank diamond ring. I recently noticed that my original emerald had a huge chip in the side. Insurance covered the cost of replacement and I was able to get this glowing girl

Stunning rings, as well as elegant and classic.

Thanks, Burberry Girl!!! I''m so pleased that the colors came through in my pics. Both stones had been in three stone settings, but I think that the new settings really do much more for them

We do share a love of the blue stones!!

I'm feeling better some days and not so much on other days...It's become an issue of symptom management. Rest helps me more than anything else, I think. I'm so pleased that your monster has been slain

I wish I knew how to do multiple quotes!! Many thanks to tourmaline lover, Loving Diamonds and D&T. I know that you all appreciate colored stones and I''m so pleased that you took the time to make such kind comments on mine. I''ve been lurking on this forum and Making The Grade suggested that I post my rings. Thanks, MTG

Lovely, lovely ring, risingsun. I can see why you love wearing that beautiful blue sapphire. Such a nice color. And it looks great in that setting.

I got the sapphire from a jeweler in the diamond district in NYC. It was a replacement for a bad polishing job on my Thai sapphire. He found me a much nicer stone in the process. All I know is that it is a Ceylon. The emerald is from my jeweler in Virginia. It is from Spark Jewels. They have a wonderful collection of precious and semiprecious colored stones. I''m not sure if the emerald is from Columbia or Africa. Clearly, I''m not yet a stoner because I don''t have more information about my CSs

ETA: The emerald ring is from Spark Creations.

TFS!

The emerald stone is lovely and I have commented on it before. The Sapphire oh my the color is just STUNNING.

Nice classy settings to show off the stones. The colours stand out well too.
