Addy, the setting is from a store in the mall called Hannoush Jewelers. I was a bit unsure of the setting because I had a different diamond when my FI first proposed to me. It was bigger (1.21) but lower quality. Anyways, after having it for about 6 months I managed to bang it very hard on something (not sure what it was) and chipped the stone. The people at the jewelry store were very nice and allowed us to trade in the stone for its purchase price. They were VERY nice people to deal with and I feel lucky they made it so easy for me.

Anyways, we decided to go for a smaller, better stone. The other stone was set up higher and you could not really see the circle around the diamond so much. For awhile I was worried that the setting looked weird because the smaller stone was set lower and more of the metal around it was showing. But, I got used to it and am fine with it now.

I am attaching a picture of the old stone. It is a very blurry cell picture. But is the only one I have of the setting and the old stone.

I so feel very lucky I was able to get a new stone! The first one wasn''t insured. This one is though! Not making that mistake twice.
