I think they used to be like that, but I've had them set a couple of my diamonds (purchased elsewhere) into their settings. No problem, and I didn't have to hassle with them about it. Of course, I did buy my wedding set from them, so maybe they do it for previous customers??? Not sure, though.

DS will mount a diamond from another source - I saw the post on here somewhere. They say to mention PS, but I'm not even sure if that is still applicable.

Both DS and WF were wonderful to deal with - no hassles at all and made me feel very comfortable and confident in my purchase.
