Help! I''m picky... but he''s old fashioned

So, after receiving guidance from Pricescope members on how to let my bf know what I would like in a ring without taking away from the surprise of the proposal, my bf and I agreed to me making a Ring Book. This book would have suggestions of what I like, dislike etc.

I finished the book on Wednesday and my bf said he wanted to take me out to a really nice dinner, then we could go cuddle up somewhere and we could look over the book together... I can''t believe how great he''s being about this whole thing!

So without further ado: a made a collage-picture to show some of my pages from the book. It didn''t take long at all to do (or it didn''t seem that way... I guess I had all the information right on the tip of my tongue for a while, lol!). Enjoy!

I wander over here sometimes cause I am not really a LIW but I find your posts interesting. Good to see the good old ring can be inspiration for someone else

Just thought I''d check in! Yep, musey, I messed up and didn''t shade out our names on the second photo, but I couldn''t figure out how to delete it. I''m not really paranoid about our names being on there, though...

And yes ChelleBelle''s photos are the round hand images and nwonderland I did use your oval hand photos. I hope that''s alright!! I couldn''t find too many oval halo hand photos... I''m sorry to hear you may be selling your ring... I know I''m new here, but I wish the best for you. I''m so glad you find my posts interesting, haha! I wonder sometimes if the regulars on this site think I''m nuts.

But everyone is always so nice...

My bf and I went over the book and after going through it he said he didn''t expect me to have narrowed down my search so narrowly! (heehee) He said he expected to see at least a dozen settings I liked (more like 30 he said) and that he would have to try and read my face to see which one I ''really liked.'' But he thought this was great... everything is lined out and he says all I have to do now is wait.

This has lifted so much worry off my shoulders... but the worry has now been replaced with a 5-year-old-waiting- for-Christmas-type anticipation!! I''m so excited!

We have been shopping together 2 times.

I am still so undecided. They all look really different when I actually try them on .

Good luck. I think this is a truly fabulous idea. I would make one myself, but if I bombard SO anymore he will pull out his hair!

Just in case anyone looks back at this thread: He asked me to help look! One day he was so stressed he asked me to come over after work. When I did, he started talking and got tears in his eyes... He said he was so worried about making me happy. He said he wanted me to help with the ring, but would be afraid it would ''kill'' the excitement, so he hadn''t asked. What a sweet guy I have!! I''m so lucky...

I told him that this whole process is exciting... and that the thought of us being husband and wife is what all the excitement is about. ...The ring is just icing on the cake.

So we''re going shopping on Saturday morning!! Eeek! Thanks again for all the help ladies! I still love my ring book, and he adores it... but I''m glad I''m helping to alleviate a lot of the stress he''s having and make sure I''ll get a ring I''ll love!
