Just got pics of my 2.09 ct stone in the beautiful Grace setting! I had my diamond recut by BGD a few months back. It looks beautiful and I can pick it up Monday at Fedex. I can't wait!

Gah! Superb cutting - just beautiful!

Its gorgeous!!! What a beautifully cut diamond and looks AWESOME in the Grace setting - Monday can't come soon enough!! Please post lots of hand shots!

I will definitely post a lot of hand shots. I have wanted the Grace setting ever since I saw Lynn B. and WS Blue's. I'm sure I'll be in the greatest mood over the weekend knowing I can pick it up on Monday!

Plus the BGD glamour shots are so gorgeous, staring at them will help the weekend pass quickly!!

Exactly Enerchi!

Looks beautiful - can't wait to see pictures when you get the ring!!

It looks beautiful!

That setting is very aptly named! Enjoy your new ring!

Oh it's gorgeous!!! It's going to be a long weekend!

beautiful!

Stunning. I can't wait to see hand pics!

Looks great! Do you have pics and/or a thread with your stone BEFORE the re-cut? I would love to see the comparison...

Beautiful!!! :appl:

YUM!!! Looks like a stunner!

Tuckins1 I do have some pics from before the recut. Searching my computer now to find them.

That is so very beautiful. I love the flowing liquid look to the metal. The giant diamond isn't bad either! :D
I can't wait for hand shots.

:wavey: Irishsparkles! Its Monday ---- so it must be BGD Fedex day! Have you got it yet? What does it look like IRL? Excited to hear about this gorgeous Grace beauty!!

Yes Enerchi today was FedEx day! Of course got out of work late.

She's beautiful Irishsparkles!!!

Thanks Enerchi! I do have more pics. I've tried different lighting conditions and I have hand shots. I really love this setting. You are right it was definitely worth the wait!

Your ring turned out beautifully! It looks gorgeous in the new setting too - love it paired with all the different bands too.

Enjoy - it is really spectacular!

Thanks MissGotRocks! I had it in a Vatche Swan six prong setting but I think it looks so much better in a 4 prong setting. I think it lets more light in. Now what to do with my old Swan setting?

So beautiful, Irishsparkles! The stone and setting are just perfect. I prefer 4-prong over 6-prong as well. And I love your different band combinations.

It looks great with all your different bands!

Find a lovely gemstone for it! I love your new setting though!

Beautiful!!! And I agree - a colored stone would look perfect in the Vatche Swan. A bold color would really make its curvy lines pop. Then you'd have two knock out rings!

Thanks Kim N, Gypsy, Rosebloom and MissGotRocks! I think a colored stone would look good in my old Vatche Swan. Good idea!

:appl: :appl: :appl: Gorgeous!!!
Kudos to the cutter!!! :appl: :appl: :appl:
