I like this setting much better than the heavy handcrafted one I had originally. I think shows the color of the stone much better! Sorry for the poor quality of the photos, I just cannot seem to get a good one.

I'd love to comment too but it is too blurry. It looks like quite a substantial ring, from what I can make out though and that it is a yellow metal?

yes its 14K gold and a 3.21 oval Mahenge spinel. I'm going to try and find a higher quality digital camera and re-post so everyone can see it better. Sorry, guys!!

That's all right. I noticed recently that my cell phone takes better pictures (sharper resolution and colour) than my digital camera.
