Its a A.Jaffe white gold and its .99cts

Yes, as someone mentioned, please take more pictures. Your ring is beautiful.

Can I ask a silly question?? What does it mean to get promised? Is that like what we did in the 70''s, getting pre-engaged with an ankle bracelet? I guess we called that "going steady" back then. Getting an ankle bracelet back then used to mean that an engagement was definitely in someone''s future. I remember my future mother-in-law getting very upset that her son had an "intended".

Well in our culture we get promised which is like you said is a pre-engagement. His family had to come to my house we had over 60 people over...and his dad has to tell my parents why they are here and how they want to "pick the flower from there garden and plant it in theres" practically asking for my hand then my parents say yes then my bf gives me a promise ring....then we start planning an engagement and wedding.....hope that answers your questions.

My parents and his are from Iraq...were "chaldean" were like the 1% of the population that is catholic. you can look it up online and learn more about it

he had me go to the jewler and see a ring he had picked for me it was a 3 stone diana classic of a total weight of 1ct. I told him that i didnt really like and it wouldnt be something id wear again once i get my ER and right next to it there was this a.jaffe band and i was like owww can i try that on so i did and i loved it. so he said YOU GOT IT. so i picked it out lol
